A Backyard Resort Brought to Life
This swimming pool was transformed into a backyard resort with the addition of several RicoRock waterfalls. The homeowner had a clear design vision and collaborated with JR Waterfalls and Repairs, an independent dealer, to complete the project in just three weeks.
Cost-Effective Design with Standard Kits
Standard waterfall kits made of lightweight concrete were mortared to a concrete base, with custom rock panels added above to create a dramatic rock formation backdrop. Using standard kits made the project more cost-effective and faster to complete than using entirely custom materials. Cast rock coping was applied to veneer the concrete spa wall, giving it an old-world aesthetic. Water is recycled from the pool’s filter pump for efficient operation.
Safe, Fun, and Family-Friendly
The entire structure is safe for climbing, and the grotto provides an exciting play area for the grandkids. The sound of the waterfalls carries into the nearby patio, enhancing the relaxing, natural atmosphere.
