Pool Jump Rocks: The New Alternative to Diving Boards

Pool jump rocks are replacing traditional diving boards, and RicoRock offers several styles to choose from; each designed to bring a natural, resort-style feel to your pool while keeping safety and durability in mind.

The Jumper Plus is the deluxe version of RicoRock’s pool jump rocks, featuring a small waterfall and a jumping platform about 30 inches high.

The LO2 Jump Rock is a shorter option without the waterfall, with built-in steps on the backside for easy access to the top platform.

For pools with straight-line edges, RicoRock also offers two styles of Temple Stones: the Side by Side and the Stacked, both functional, space-efficient pool jump rocks that pair well with linear pool designs.

Every RicoRock pool jump rock features a textured surface for reliable grip and slip resistance — solving a common problem with natural stone, which is often too heavy for pool decks, prone to deterioration, and slippery when wet.

Built for Stability

RicoRock pool jump rocks are inherently stable, though we recommend mortaring them to the concrete deck for added security. Despite their substantial weight — between 150 and 250 lbs — they can still be moved into place with a furniture dolly or hand cart.

Safety Guidelines

Pool jump rocks should always be installed in the deep end of the pool. Depth codes vary by location, but generally, any jump platform higher than 30 inches requires at least 6 feet of water depth.

Important: Jump rocks are designed for feet-first jumping only. Head-first diving from a jump rock is a leading cause of pool injuries and should never be attempted. Warning signage is available to help remind swimmers of this danger.
