That’s what Ken Gibson from Waterfalls by Design in Florida hoped to do for his client.
Judging from the photos, he succeeded.
Gibson designed this tropical-island-inspired backyard escape using RicoRock’s faux-rock products to give it that all-natural feeling. The grass-style “cabanas” make the backyard feel extra authentic while also creating a little shade for those hot, sunny days.
And as you can see, it’s a hit with the four-legged family members!
In order to create this beautiful backyard oasis, Gibson used a grotto, adding on a slide* and extra faux-rock products to give it that “nature made this” look. This grotto and slide is where the excitement happens. When swimmers are ready for a little downtime (and privacy), then can float over to the right to the customized Loveseat grotto. This made-for-two space has a beautiful sheet waterfall covering the entrance to lock out all the buzz of the world. Gibson used our structural and custom rock products to customize both grottos, line the edge of the poolside and lead us into the spa near the back, shaping the whole poolside into a 360 degree immersive backyard vacation experience.
Now all the homeowners need to do is head out into the backyard for rest, relaxation, and a little bit of “me time”.
